Coats for kids: we sent $1800 to State and we will get like 11 cases. We need to expand our
advertising. We will be holding it at St. Mary’s Lords Hall. We will get the coats later this
year. Mike Lewis SR will Lead the schools advertising. Contact the radio stations, library’s,
business, and bulletins.
No instillation of officers tonight, postponed until September.
Diocesan Meeting was good, had a lot about programs. We need to combine our 2
council’s programs.
We had a great picnic! We all had a lot of fun! We will do it again next year, and would like to
thank St. Thomas council for the use of their picnic area.
Muskegon county Right to life Focus on life dinner will be held on October 28th at the Bella
Maria Event Centre. Program starts at 5:30.
Treasurer report: $100 for take ten. Per cap state and supreme in good standing. Balance =
$7680.
Membership: we had 2 prospective member at coffee and donuts, St Mary's. Don’ forget
the shirt you win for getting a new member.
Programs: we had a meeting with Father Dave back in July. He was interested in the
programs we were already running. Look into St. Thomas’ apple eve clean up. Father wants
to see more spiritual programs. First Saturday every month there is the morning adoration,
breakfast, and Bible study at St. Mary’s. We need to start forming committees for the
programs that we do. Welcoming Party for Father Dave?
4th: Degree: Fall exemplification is held at St. Jude’s’ parish. It takes place October 25th, 2025. The next assembly meeting is September 23rd
DD Report: Fraternal planner is a great guide for officers to stay on track on getting all the
forms in. Congrats on the Star council. Marty wants to get 3 new members by September.

DD has a hand out for signing new people up. We need to really concentrate on recruiting!
Order the cards with the elevator speech on it. Also utilize the prospects wife, she will be
valuable in getting him to join. Schedule a fall recruiting drive. Early planning is key. Invite
prospects to any programs that we are running. #728 form needs to be filled out. Get Byron
mick off our tab. Still non compliant for youth protection, get compliant ASAP. Fraternal
benefit night needs to be scheduled in a timely mater. 1728, 365, and sp7Are also due.
Need to schedule instillation of officers ASAP.
Unfinished Business: Read Resolution of Merger to council. (Record of this document is
stored in the council book.)
